Restricted In House Basic Forklift Truck Operator Novice

To provide information to users of Lift Trucks on the relevant Health and safety guidelines and to give the delegates hands on training on the correct driving methods, safe use and maintenance of Lift trucks. The training allows the operator to become familiar not only with the equipment he/she will be operating but also the area they will be operating in and any potential hazards. The training will involve both theoretical and practical elements designed to challenge the delegates and increase confidence.

Target Group

Within the health and safety commissions A.C.O.P. lies the requirement for training. This may consist of basic training for novices, training for experienced but not currently certificated operators, refresher training or conversion/familiarisation training.

With the number of injuries and damage to company assets within the UK, it is worth reviewing your standards of operation, certification dates, choice of operators and perhaps the costs to date or if not, the potential costs to your company.

Delegates for training on trucks ranging in capacities of 10 ton and over, should have previous experience of operating smaller rated capacity trucks.

On Successful completion of this course delegates will have a good understanding relating to the safe use of Forklift Trucks and have demonstrated their abilities having completed a practical assessment.

A RelyOn Nutec Onsite in house training provider certificate will be issued. Certification will be restricted to the Forklift Truck they trained on and the premises they trained at.
