Examination
On successful completion of this course delegates would have completed a theoretical test, and have participated in the practical content which involves all prior assessments and planning of lifts prior to the task being carried out.
On successful completion of this course delegates will be issued and In House Training providers certificate

Introduction to the current legislation HASWA, LOLER and PUWER.
The requirements for third party inspections and colour codes.
Responsibilities of the Banksman, Slinger and Crane Operators.
Introduction to Lifting Equipment.
Introduction to methods of slinging, a wide variety of loads.
The pre-use inspection criteria of lifting accessories.
The formulation of risk assessments and lifting plans.
Methods of communication using radio and hand signals.
Load weight assessment, sling angles and tensions.
Storage and loading methods of containers and half heights.
The safe execution of the lifting of a variety of loads.
