Objective

Participants should be able to lead evacuation of passengeers and crew after emergency landing (ditching) of helicopter at sea.

Target Group

Civil helicopter crews.

Examination

Upon completion of the course, delegates will receive a course certificate.

Course Contents

Theory: - Procedures for emergency landing with a helicopter. - Measures to be taken before, during and after ditching. - Dangers associated with emergency landing in sea, and available rescue equipment. Practical training: - Firefighting using CO2. - Organized evacuation from helicopter to liferaft. - Subsea evacuation from helicopter.
