Objective

This course has been developed in line with the STEP Change initiative which promotes the establishment, maintenance and deployment of thorough task risk assessment procedures. During the course delegates will gain proper awareness of their own personal responsibility in this area, and knowledge of the key elements of being part of a Task Risk Assessment team as a means to reduce workplace accidents.

Target Group

This course is designed for all current (or potential) members of Task Risk Assessment teams.

Prerequisites

All delegates must be in possession of a valid medical certificate.

Understand the purpose of a Task Risk Assessment

Understand how a Task Risk Assessment is performed

Understand how to participate in a Task Risk Assessment

Be familiar with the documents used in a Task Risk Assessment

Be familiar of the issues relating to computer assisted Task Risk Assessment processes

Be aware of the importance of implementing the precautions and watching for changing circumstances

Be aware the importance of monitoring the Task Risk Assessment implementation process

Be aware of the training that is expected for Task Risk Assessment.
