Helideck Emergency Response Team Leader (HERTL) Training (OPITO Approved)

Objective

The aims and objectives of the HLO Helideck Emergency Response Team Leader programme are to equip HLO’s with the knowledge,understanding and skills required to lead a Helideck Emergency Response Team during offshore helideck and helicopter emergencies

Target Group

Personnel who are currently appointed or candidate for Helicopter Landing Officers (HLOs) that require OPITO-certified emergency response leader training in helicopter emergencies as part of their overall competence requirement.

Prerequisites

Those attending this training course will require to be in procession of: a valid OPITO Offshore Helicopter Landing Officer Initial Training Certificate and a valid OPITO Helideck Emergency Response Team Member Certificate.
