Objective

The participant will through theoretical and practical training become basic skills and knowledge in techniques regarding boat transfer. Compatible with exercises from GWO

Target Group

Persons, who have to work offshore and in the maritime industry. Persons, who have to work the renewables energy sector (windmill industry) setting up, repair and/or maintain offshore wind tubines.

Examination

None, but the participants must join the whole course and actively take part in all exercises.

Course Contents

• Knowledge of the importance of the safety introduction onboard transfer vessels • Understanding of hazards related to the different types of transfers and how to mitigate these hazards in each situation (dynamic/static – static/dynamic, dynamic/dynamic) • Understanding of the safe handling of equipment and storage
