NR-34 - Basic Safety Course for Hot Work Activities – General Safety Module

Objective

Provide the student General safety knowledge for hot work.

Target Group

Workers who perform hot work in which involve welding, torch, rotating discs and other activities.

Prerequisites

- RG and CPF;
- Passport (expatriate).

General module:
a) applicable to all specialties of Hotwork
the) study of NR-34, 34.5 Item (hot work)
b) identification of hazards and risk analysis
- Concept of danger and risk
- Hazard identification techniques and risk analysis
- APP and APR
c) permission to work
d) lower and upper explosive limit
e) control measures in the workplace
- Preliminary Inspection
- Control of flammable and combustible materials
- Physical protection
- Activities in the surroundings
- Signs and isolation of the workplace
- Subsequent Inspection for controls of ignition sources
f) renewal of air in the workplace (ventilation and exhaustion)
g) gas Network
