Objective

To provide the delegates with the opportunity to practice and demonstrate emergency response skills which are not possible to practice during drills, exercises and emergency training offshore.

Target Group

This programme is designed to meet the further offshore safety and emergency response training requirements for personnel working in the offshore oil and gas industry.

Prerequisites

- Have more than eighteen (18) years;
- RG and CPF;
- Passport (Expatriate);
- Occupational Health Certificate (ASO) or certificate of good physical and mental health conditions;
- Submit a valid copy of (in-date) OPITO-approved BOSIET, or BOSIET with CA-EBS or T-BOSIET, or FOET, or FOET with CA-EBS or T-FOET.

Examination

Candidates will be evaluated according to the learning outcome specified in item D.5 using direct observation.

Module 5: Helicopter Safety and Escape – 255 minutes

Module 6: Firefighting and Self Rescue – 155 minutes

6.1 Basic firefighting and self-rescue techniques

Module 7: Emergency First Aid – 60 minutes

7.1 Emergency first aid techniques
